We are Novospir, an indie game studio with a larger mission to reinvent the future of digital and non-digital game currency-protecting gamers & investors and becoming a force for good.
Stack the Pixels is our debut game, created to show that mobile games can still be fun, easy to learn, family—friendly, and challenging to master. Despite reports that creativity and innovation have been sucked dry from the game market, we believe indie developers can still invent something new: a massively multiplayer puzzle game that’s both cooperative and competitive, playable by 1 to millions of players.
This is not just a new game; it’s a whole new game genre.
Think of Stack the Pixels as the perfect board game replacement, one that allows you to play with everyone in your group (no more doubling up or leaving players out), no more missing pieces ever, easy to learn, easy to play, yet still challenging, and best of all: you’re able to decide how much time you want to spend playing. So whether you have 3 hours, an hour, or even only 15 minutes, you can always play the perfect game with your friends & family. You can even customize the game board with a surprise family photo that everyone will be excited to reveal while playing the game!
Face it, today, the vast majority of mobile games are NOT FUN anymore. It’s not the games themselves—those are great. It’s how games are forced to monetize that’s the issue. When we play a game, we want to have fun. We don’t want to be forced to watch ads, "pay to win," and definitely not "play to earn" or "tap to earn," or waste our time grinding without enjoyment.
But that’s just the beginning. Think of Stack the Pixels as something entirely new: a massively multiplayer puzzle game in which whole communities (thousands, millions, eventually billions) will be able to band and play together with a shared mission. This is only the beginning of this massively new game genre.
THEREFORE, we made a promise to put an end to these anti-fun practices. You can read our full promise here. This is a promise to you, our players, and to the whole gaming community.
